This course will focus on various types of relationships that have been deemed "inappropriate". A social science perspective will be used to examine the societal context in which these relationships develop, are maintained, and terminate. The course will also focus on the impact that these relationships have on society and society's impact on the individuals in the relationship.   1. Define five different types of so-called "inappropriate relationships" and explain the distinctions between each.
  2. Describe how some people may view what might be called the "inappropriateness" of these types of relationships.
  3. Explain the dynamics of how various so-called "inappropriate relationships" function.
