This course examines the ways in which artists and the arts have influenced Western society from the Renaissance to the 20th century, focusing on painting, sculpture, architecture, music, dance and film. Students will also visit local museums and attend musical and theatrical events as a means of gaining a greater understanding of the arts. (Honors students only).
