Legal Studies Major
B.S. in Legal Studies
The student-faculty interaction and the commitment of the professors make the legal studies major at the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences exceptional. Small classes (seldom larger than 30 students) allow professors to get to know each student. Students have an outstanding opportunity to learn and excel in this supportive yet challenging environment.
Special programs include visits by judges, attorneys, and prosecutors.
The legal studies major is designed for students interested in preparing for law school or other graduate study, and for those who want to pursue a humanities major with a legal perspective. The courses in the major assist students in developing analytical and communication skills and an understanding of economic, political, and social contexts within which legal issues arise.
The legal studies major is offered during the day and evening on NSU's main campus.
