Testing Services
Testing Services in the Office of Academic Services (OAS) administers challenge and placement exams for placement out of courses in elementary algebra, college-level mathematics, writing, Spanish, and technology. Testing Services also provides faculty make-up exams, proctoring services, and standardized tests and serves as an information resource for many other exams. All exams are by appointment only.
Contact Testing Services for specific dates or appointments. Students must contact their academic advisor before making appointments to take any CLEP, DSST, and NYU Foreign Language Proficiency exam. Contact the Office of Student Disability Services for more information on receiving individualized accommodations for students with documented disabilities.

General Test Requirements
- The exam request form (provided by the student's academic advisor) is required for all exams, except faculty-approved makeups.
- Testing is administered by appointment only. Walk-ins are not allowed.
- A valid photo ID is required (NSU SharkCard, drivers license, or passport).
