Marine Microbiology Minor

The marine microbiology minor at the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences is intended for the marine biology major who wants specialized training in this field. The science of microorganisms in the marine environment has become increasingly valuable in biotechnology and the development of pharmaceutical products. Students in other majors who meet the prerequisites may also pursue this minor. This minor can be combined with any major and minor. The minor is available to PALS (day) students only.
