The chemistry major has two tracks: a B.S. in Chemistry (non-ACS track) and a B.S. in Chemistry (ACS track). ACS stands for the American Chemical Society. Both B.S. tracks are intended for those who wish to pursue a career in chemistry-related fields or secondary education teaching and who wish to enter a graduate program in chemistry or in health-related fields such as medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, and law.
The chemistry major is offered during the day on NSU's main campus.
