Description
The NSU master of science (M.S.) in education, offered through the Fischler Graduate School of Education and Human Services, prepares educators to meet the challenges of their evolving profession and to reinforce the importance of their role in rapidly changing political, economic, and social environments. The program offers an array of specializations in teacher education and school administration.Requirements
The Dual Admission Program in education is open to both freshmen and transfer students. Candidates should pursue a bachelor's degree in education. They must have a 2.75 GPA and a combined 1000 SAT score. SAT scores are not required for transfer students who meet the requirements of specific course work. A preadmission interview is not required.The Dual Admission Program in education normally requires four years of undergraduate education and 18 months of graduate study. In addition, the Master’s Accelerated Program (MAP) allows qualified students to finish both degrees in two-and-a-half years beyond completion of their general education requirements.
