Conflict Analysis and Resolution
Description
Conflict analysis and resolution is an interdisciplinary field focused on the development and improvement of relationships in organizations and communities. It combines theory and practice from sociology, education, business, law, anthropology, social work, and psychology, among other disciplines. The NSU master’s of science (M.S.), offered by the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, prepares students for careers in social service agencies, education, government and policy organizations, private and public consulting groups, and academia. The department also offers a joint program with the Shepard Broad Law Center.Requirements
The Dual Admission Program in conflict analysis and resolution is open to both freshmen and transfer students. Freshman students must have a 3.0 high school GPA and a combined 1000 SAT score. Transfer students must have an entering 3.0 GPA. Candidates may pursue any undergraduate major, however psychology is perferred. A preadmission interview is required.Locations Available
